Preheat oven to 400. Grease muffin cups (or use papers). Combine all dry ingredients (except raisins and nuts). In another bowl, beat the egg and add the milk, pumpkin and butter. Mix well. Stir the liquid mix into the dry just until moistened. Stir in the raisins and nuts. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake 15-20 minutes or until light brown.
