Pizza Dough


  • 2 Tbsp. yeast (2 packets)
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 5-7 cups flour


    Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add rest of ingredients except half of flour. Gradually knead in remaining flour to form a soft dough. Let rise until double in bulk. Roll out on cornmeal covered pizza board or flat cookie sheet. Spread with toppings and bake at 450 deg. for 15-20 minutes. Makes three 12 inch pizzas.
