Lorie's Sandwich Loaf


  • 3 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup hot water
  • meat and cheese for filling
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. yeast
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • Directions:

    Put half of the flour and the rest of the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl. Pour hot water over margarine and let stand until soft. Mix water into flour mixture. Knead the remaining flour in to make a soft dough. Let rise till doubled. Roll out flat. Spread meat and cheese on thop of dough and fold over. Let rise again. Bake at 400 deg. for 25 minutes or until done. Makes one loaf.
