Easier Sweet -n- Sour Sauce


  • 1 Tbls mustard
  • 1/4 cup catsup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup juice/water (use juice
    drained from pineapple, then add
    water to equal a total of one cup)
  • 2 Tbls cornstarch
  • 1 can drained crushed or chunky pineapple
  • Directions:

    In a saucepan, combine the mustard, catsup, sugar and vinegar with
    the cup of juice/water heat on stove to boiling. Then add pineapple.
    Mix 2 tablespoons of cornstarch in 2 tablespoons water until creamy.
    Pour cornstarch into boiling sauce and stir until thickened.
