Caramel Corn


  • 5 quarts pop corn
  • 2 cubes margarine
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white Karo
  • 1 tsp butter extract
  • Directions:

    Melt margarine, stir in sugar and Karo. Bring to full boil. Remove from heat and add extracts and soda. Stir well. Mixture will be foamy. Pour over corn in oven proof bowl or pan. Bake at 200, stirring every 15 minutes until each piece is crisp and dry.
