. . . Finally we got to the North Pole and
it was freezing.
“I don’t see your work shop.” I said confused.
But he just started walking forward until when I looked again I saw it.
It was the most beautiful place I had ever seen.
“There it is.” Santa called out. “Do you like it?”
“I love it! It is so beautiful.” I said.
We hopped back in the sled and we flew down to the elf village.
“Hello Santa.” Said a small voice in front of Santa.
“Hello Arthur.” Santa said back. “This is Irean. She
has come to help me get the stone that Chilly stole from me.
“Oh great.”
Santa showed me his office and then we started planning.
“Ok I will tell the rest of the elves to watch for Chilly.”
Santa said.
“What will I do?” I asked.
“Well we need you and Arthur to search for clues about where he
has been,” said Santa.
"OK Santa," I said.
Me and Arthur started running all around the North Pole. But there was
no sight or clue of Chilly anywhere. Then we heard a yell!
"HELP!" cried all the elves in the workshop. We both knew that
Chilly was around.
"What are we going to do?" I cried!
"I don't know," said Arthur. "He is immune to everything
but heat."
"That's it!" I said happily. We ran to the workshop and found
Chilly inside. He still had the stone with him.
I yelled, "Hey Chilly!"
"What do you want little girl?" Chilly asked.
"Give that stone back or else!"
"I'm not afraid of you!" he laughed.
"Have it your way," I answered. "It's time to turn up the
heat!" I ran to the thermostat and cranked it up. It got so hot that
Chilly dropped the stone and ran out of the workshop yelping and disappeared
never to be seen again! I scooped up the stone and handed it back to Santa.
"Hurray!" cried the elves.
"Thank you Irean, you saved Christmas!" Santa said smiling.
"Your welcome! But I should get back home now," I said. I waved
goodbye to the elves. Then Santa took me home again in his sleigh. We
said goodbye and I went back to my bed to go to sleep. I had a fun Christmas
Eve Night!
